Winter Sports Agency

The Winter Sports Agency was created as a body dedicated to serving the needs of athletes, sponsors and media from the winter sports arena. Their mission is to build marketing strategies for those involved in winter sports, using their knowledge and skills acquired through years of experience in the marketing and PR industries, so that individuals, teams and sports as a whole can grow in skill and popularity. The Winter Sports Agency required a site allowing athletes, sponsors and the media to access their services and which would act as a platform for their clients to present themselves.

For the Winter Sports Agency our designers have been working to create a site that is compact in design and straight-forward to navigate. By far the highlight of the site we've created is the magazine style athletes sections containing information such as profiles, blogs and galleries. Athletes are able to edit their section enabling them to ensure all information displayed is fresh and accurate. Visitors can ask athletes questions in a specially designed module which relays these to the athletes through a system they can access which automatically posts answers to the correct place on the site. In order to allow news and pictures to be fully up to date, displaying events taking place around the world, we created modules allowing for remote uploading of these items by authorized users requiring only a simple web-browser.

Magazine section

With a series of modules, including a blog and a gallery, athletes have the ability to edit their stats, write blogs and answer questions that are put to them.

Gallery

Each of the thumbnails can be selected to display a larger photo. Remote uploading makes for a site that can be kept fresh and up-to-date by authorised users anywhere in the world, using a simple web-browser.

Athlete Questions

A specially designed module relays questions to the athletes via a system that they have access to. Answers are posted automatically to the correct place.
